Happy Spring!
I finally have a few minutes to catch you all up on the news at the Inn. On April 18, I celebrated my first year of Innkeeping and what a year it has been!
I have met the most incredible people, many have become new great friends.
It was a great winter, the winter guests really enjoyed their stay here and were loving all the snow that we had. Nordic skiing went really well at the Gardens and I am looking forward to next year.
We are having an early spring so that has given me more time to spend and the gardens and maintenance that I didn't have time for last year-I was moving in and trying to figure out out to do the business!
Guests coming in have been fairly steady and reservations for summer are looking great. I am looking forward to the new season.
Some of you know or heard about the "World's Largest Human Lobster". Well, because of all that has to come together and be organized. The Lobster will be happening in 2008. Marketing, advertising, merchandising, etc is going to take a lot more than a couple of months. I have received my claim ID # from Guiness Book of Records, so off we go! I will do my best to keep you post closer to the fall on the EVENT! To catch up on the information-google-(human lobster Boothbay Register) for the story from March.
This summer at the Inn now includes GOLF! Yes, I now can offer packages at Maine's premiere private Golf Course bordering my property!
